Teeth cleaning is important for removing tartar and plaque from your dog's teeth, an important part of oral health. 1-TDC® keeps the gums healthy, the major element of oral health. Ideally you want to do both. 1-TDC® complements teeth cleaning and other oral care procedures.
Yes. Allergies come from protein, and 1-TDC® is a fatty acid. So, any animals allergic to beef should be safe. Of course we recommend you consult with your veterinarian first who has a full medical history of your dog.
There are no known side-effects or contraindications with other medicines or products. 1-TDC® is intended for long-term use in dogs and cats throughout their life and they will not develop any resistance to the product.
Like all other supplements, if you have a health issue going on with your pet, it is always recommended to discuss any treatments with your veterinarian. One case where you would not use 1-TDC® (and most other products) is if there is an active case of pancreatitis occurring.

No, usually they will be just fine. Worst case, maybe some diarrhea.
No. Soft gels get soft in warmer, humid weather and hard in cooler, dry weather. If yours are hard, a trick to keeping them softer (easier to use) is to put a little piece of bread in the bottle much like you do with cookies to keep them from getting stale/hard. The moisture in the bread will soften the soft gels.
If the capsules are stuck together, you can put the bottle in the refrigerator for an hour and then just shake the bottle to unstick the capsules. If that doesn’t work, give us a call and we will send you a replacement bottle. We want you to be happy and we do not want your money if you are not.
Color changes from batch to batch are normal. When you squeeze out the contents of the capsule it should be an oily paste. If the product has separated into an oil and a grainy substance, then the capsules were exposed to high temperatures in transit for too long.
Worry not, however, because its efficacy or safety doesn't get affected by high heat. That being said, if that’s the case and you’re still skeptical, or its just difficult to administer it in a liquid form … give us a call or email us and we will send you a replacement bottle for free.
It may take a while for some pets to get accustomed to the product. Squeezing the capsule contents into an empty dish and then putting a little treat in the 1-TDC® paste helps.
Eventually, when you shake the bottle, your dog will come running. As a last resort, you can put 1-TDC® paste on the pina of the ear, and remove it after 10 minutes. That way it will absorb into the dog’s system.

I’ve used the supplement for my dog for almost a decade. She’s now 14 and most people think she’s much much younger than her age. She retired from agility at 11 and parkour at 13. I have used this product for years. I have not noticed their teeth getting better but they definitely haven't gotten worse. Pete is 16 and his mobility has improved especially during the winter months. He is a little stiff when he first gets up in the morning but like me, he walks it off within a few steps. I was getting ready to put my 14 1/2 year-old dog on some type of prescription pain meds as she appeared to be in pain and stiff all the time.. However, the works so well tdc1 saved her from that. I bought these after a vet recommended them to help with my pug's teeth and overall oral health, and the joint health was a bonus (she just got double TPLO). In general, I feel it's hard to say a supplement is really working for its intended purposes, especially for a dog. However, we did have a vet visit the other day, and she said the teeth/mouth were looking good. Our next dental is not for a few months yet. We have also added other measures, too - brushing more, etc. My dog really likes the supplement, and it doesn't seem to be hurting her, so I plan to continue giving it to her. It seems like a good product and vet-recommended. The outside of the supplement is too hard for her to chew, so we throw that part away. This could be because she doesn't have many teeth left to chew it; it's kind of rubbery, and I feel it's a choking hazard for her. Pug-approved!

I do not know if it works or not. I hope it makes my elderly doggie feel a bit better. they keep sending me emails to review the product. this is all I can say. I thought this was something that my dog eats. Not that I would have to be put on daily in his mouth. I tried it once and he practically bit my hand off!
Unfortunately this formula was not good for my boy’s tummy. He got severe diarrhea and I had to stop using the product.

So far... so good. His teeth are looking good. He seems to enjoy taking them. The video showed twisting off that small top and squirting it onto his teeth on both sides and then giving the remainder for him to chew. I do not have the strength in my fingers to twist off something so small, so to nip it off with scissors. He seems to enjoy the taste and enjoys eating the remainder. He even begs for that tiny piece that I cut off. It has only been 3-4 weeks, so I have not yet noticed improvement in his ability to jump up on the bed yet, but he does have much more energy and he has gotten his morning zommies back. So far I am well pleased.
